i once was a leper, but now i am healed from the deepest of my disease and boils

i am now accepted in the Kingdom despite my former citizenship,

and now am called a child of God.

given a headdress of beauty instead of ashes,

garments of white instead of sackcloth,

and given life instead of death.

THANK YOU for retrieving me from the depths of darkness,

and giving me this life through the death of Your Son.

I will give thanks, for You give and take away, but Your Word stands forever.
